Mahindra Fusion Fest Music Competition

1. 1. Competition Period

   The competition opens on 6^th October 2026 and closes at 00:00 on 4^th January 2027.

2. 2. Eligibility

   Employees of Mahindra and Mahindra South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Mahindra South Africa”), Mahindra Dealerships as well as their immediate families, and associated agencies are not eligible to participate. Any entries from the aforementioned persons will be disregarded.

3. 3. Competition and Entry Mechanism

   To enter participants must submit their music entry by recording themselves performing a song that showcases their unique vocal abilities. This track – either existing or original – should aim to capture the ethos of Mahindra Fusion Fest i.e. a cultural revolution. Once the video has been recorded, Participants must upload their entry (the recording) onto TikTok or Instagram and must tag the official Mahindra Fusion Fest page @mahindrafusionfest – the handle is the same on both platforms. The entry must be no shorter than 45 seconds and no longer than 1 minute long and Participants must be visible and singing in the video. Anything outside of these parameters will be disregarded. (collectively, the “Competition”)

4. 4. Prize

   The winner of this Competition will receive a prize made up of:

   (a) the opportunity to perform on the Fusion Fest stage at the Mahindra Fusion Fest 2027, to be held at the SunBet Arena on 27 February 2027; and

   (b) a cash prize of R30 000 (thirty thousand Rand),

   (together, the "Prize").

   The Prize is not transferable. The performance opportunity may not be exchanged, in whole or in part, for cash, vouchers or the equivalent. The cash prize will be paid only to the winner, and only if the winner holds a valid South African bank account.

   The winner will be selected and contacted on or before 20 January 2027.

5. 5. Winner Selection

   The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Competition period. The top 10 most engaged posts on social media will be shortlisted and will be judged by a panel of judges, who will decide on the winner at the discretion of Mahindra South Africa.

6. 6. Prize Collection

   Winners will be contacted by Mahindra South Africa on the same platform through which they submitted their entry and on the same profile from which the entry was submitted on the respective platform. If the winner cannot be contacted via their social media account as aforesaid within 24 hours, Mahindra South Africa reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. 7. General

   Mahindra South Africa reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Competition at any time without prior notice. In the event that the awarding any prize to the Winner will bring the Mahindra brand into disrepute or if the issuing of the prize breaches any laws, Mahindra South Africa reserves the right to withdraw same.

8. 8. Liability

   Mahindra South Africa, its director, employees, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this competition or the acceptance of the Prize.

9. 9. Data Privacy

   By entering this competition, participants agree to the collection and use of their personal information by Mahindra South Africa for the purposes of this Competition and marketing of Mahindra Fusion Fest, as well as further marketing purposes for Mahindra South Africa.

10. 10. Organizer

    The Competition is organized by Mahindra South Africa.

11. 11. Publicity

    By participating in the Competition, participants grant Mahindra the right to use their names, social media handles, photographs, and Content for promotional purposes without further compensation. Whilst Mahindra South Africa will not take ownership of the Content submitted in respect of the Competition, by entering, you hereby confer upon Mahindra South Africa a royalty free, unrestricted, irrevocable right to use the Content submitted for any and all purposes as required by Mahindra South Africa, limited to marketing the Mahindra brand (including its vehicles and dealerships) as well as the Mahindra Fusion Fest 2027 event and events going forward.

12. 12. Disqualification and Termination
    1. Mahindra South Africa reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent, inflammatory or unethical behaviour. Mahindra South Africa will further not accept any entry which is filmed with clear and visible branding of any other OEM or brand.
    2. Participants are to remain mindful that Mahindra is a family-oriented brand and that the Mahindra Fusion Fest event is a family event which includes minors. Accordingly, any entry that goes against the Mahindra brand values or may bring the Mahindra brand into disrepute will be automatically disqualified. Mahindra South Africa will allow participants to amend their entries up until the final date for submission, failing which the entry will be disqualified and disregarded.
    3. Mahindra South Africa reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Competition if it cannot be completed as planned due to technical failures, viruses, or any other causes beyond the control of Mahindra South Africa that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition.
13. 13. Release and Limitations of Liability
    1. By participating in the Competition, participants release Mahindra South Africa from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Competition or the Prizes awarded.
    2. Mahindra South Africa is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, or unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Competition.
    3. Mahindra South Africa reserves the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions and any Prizes, for any reason which Mahindra South Africa deems necessary.
    4. All participants are to practice extreme safety when recording content to be submitted in respect of the Competition. Mahindra South Africa does not condone, nor recommend that participants record their content whilst driving a vehicle or operating any machinery of any kind. Mahindra South Africa will not be liable for any losses whatsoever should any participant breach the terms and conditions of this Coemption.
14. 14. Governing law

    The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. 15. Privacy

    Any personal information collected from participants during the Competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition as well as for future marketing purposes by Mahindra South Africa. Post-event marketing will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Mahindra South Africa’s privacy policy.
